NEW  No More Tears Left Behind

Background: For any European Jewish person to have survived the Holocaust is amazing in itself. To do so right under the Gestapo's nose right in the Berlin area is incredible. This true life story of Eve Deutschkron, such a person, is best described as incredible.

Eva grew up in a world that was becoming increasingly dangerous for members of the Jewish faith, and was faced with being "transported" or perhaps shot by the Nazis. She and her new husband, Martin, disappeared into the "underground" in 1942. For the remainder of World War Two they continued to live and work right in the Berlin area without being apprehended by the dreaded Gestapo. They did this despite the Gestapo knowing of them and actively looking for them. Upon war's end they then were faced with survival under the new masters of Eastern Germany, the Russians.

This is a story that needed to be told and recorded. It is extremely educational about that tumultuous time in history and is an inspiration to us all.
